Avengers Assemble!

The build-up to this film has been ongoing for some time, with the separate character films being released one by one since Iron Man in April 2008. Therefore the expectations for Avengers Assemble was pretty high, and I have to say it did not disappoint! Joss Whedon brings together all the stars of the Marvel Studios in one crazy action-packed superhero smash, which is highly entertaining. The script was brilliant with great witty dialogue, (mostly delivered by Robert Downey Jr…mmm…) keeping the whole cinema audience engaged and laughing out loud at each quip. The special effects and epic battle sequences were balanced with what could have been super cheesy overly emotional sequences, but somehow managed to bring just the right amount of humanity to the individual characters. A definite blockbuster and one of this years must-see movies!
