Friday night in with the girls- Elspeth and Jo 🙂 I love having a house big enough to entertain- I’m glad Mark and I went for somewhere a little bigger, as so many of the rented places we looked at didn’t even have a dining room or space for a table! Where do you eat?!
I agree it’s great being able to curl up on the couch with a bowl of pesto pasta but sometimes it’s nice to have a proper sit down meal with wine and homecooked food and good company 🙂 Cheesy, but true!

Mozzarella and pepper pizza (pre-made bases for quick assembly!) with garlic bread and salad
This is actually a picture of the leftovers that I ate for my dinner on Sunday, as we dug into the original pizzas too quickly! They were yummy! 🙂
Pinot Grigio Rosé – very drinkable!
I also made the girls sample a bit of this chocolate red wine which I was raving about because it’s awesome!
I’m not normally a fan of red wine, but this has an amazing smell and taste of dark chocolate (goes even better with some actual dark chocolate, haha)- it’s a really indulgent glass of wine. I discovered it when we went to a chocolate festival in London, but you can buy it in the supermarket too- win!
To keep up the chocolate theme Elspeth had made these amazing chocolate chunk cookies- I’m going to have to get the recipe from her, so yummy 🙂
