Runner’s Jewellery

I love my running medals.

And I have an awesome hanger from the Runner’s Wall to display them- every time I walk past I feel proud of what I have accomplished.

It’s a little more full than this now!

However I have also seen people use other ways to celebrate their achievements, from tattoos, photo montages, framed race bibs, and of course runner’s jewellery.

I think this is a really nice idea, and is something you can wear on a daily basis to keep that sense of pride with you.

It’s a subtle but meaningful way to mind you of  that race, those steps, those aches and pains, those memories and crossing the finish line with all the emotion and euphoria that comes with it.

These are some of my favourites:

  1. I Love Running necklace from Abella Blue on Etsy
  2. Thirteen Point One from JessicasGifts on Etsy
  3. One Mile at a Time necklace from Erica Sara Designs
  4. Two Tone Race Necklace from Gracie and Me

All of these can be personalised according to your race and distance as well…

It’s nice to commemorate your achievements, and remind yourself that you are AWESOME! Especially now when I am injured and doubting myself, it’s good to remember what my body is capable of…

Take a moment to appreciate how awesome you are today 🙂

What would you go for? Medal hanger, necklace, tattoo or something else?
