WIAW : What I Ate Wednesday 6

What have you been eating this week? Any new product discoveries or new recipes?

This is what I ate yesterday (Tuesday):
I went to the gym before work for a cardio session so I grabbed one of my newly arrived Trek bars (review to follow!)- I had a few bites before my workout and finished it afterwards. Yum!

Breakfast
After a quick shower I made a simple refreshing breakfast- I find it hard to break away from warm breakfasts when the weather is so cold, but this was a nice change 🙂

Two weetabix, Activia pouring yoghurt and raspberries! The Activia yoghurt is very convenient, but not really that different to yoghurt in a normal pot- perhaps a bit thinner so it pours easier.

Mid morning snack
I’m finding that exercising more is definitely increasing my appetite! Mid-morning I grabbed a banana from the work fruit box (and a mini chocolate someone had brought in!) and had a cup of tea.

Lunch
Lunch was chicken salad with pitta bread and houmous- I cooked two chicken breasts in the oven last night with cumin, coriander and pepper; it made a really tasty salad!

Dinner
Leftover chilli and wholewheat pasta, with grated smoked cheddar.

Evening snack
Blueberry muffin and cup of tea 🙂

Happy Wednesday! I’m so looking forward to my 4-day weekend! Hope you all have some fun plans 🙂

Both your lunch and dinner look great! I love putting thick chili or stew over pasta, it multitasks as an amazing sauce!

Thanks Cait! 🙂 I love leftovers- they're so versatile! Chilli is great with pasta, rice or even on a baked potato. Have a great day 🙂
