Sunshine and Ducks

Since my physio appointment on Wednesday I’ve been trying “to exercise as normal” with the temporary foam arch support to see if it makes any difference.
Monday
Body Attack
Time – 1hour
Calories – 410kcal
Tuesday
Run around Whitlingham Broad
Distance – 3.8km
Time – 26:07minutes
Average pace – 7:09min/km average pace
Some adorable fluffy cygnets!

Many ducks…

I started off pretty well- the weather was gorgeous! However about halfway round I got a massive stitch and had to walk quite a lot until it had gone. My calf was still hurting too although I was trying to think more about my running style… I got over-taken by heaps of really fit triathletes! But it was quite encouraging having other runners around, made me keep going 🙂 I stretched at the end of my run and refuelled with a nakd berry cheeky oatie bar – 100kcal per bar, and made only with natural ingredients.

I iced my calf when I got home and it feels a bit better now. I’m not sure if I’m really going to be able to properly run for a while though, it might be more beneficial to just take a break- will see what Tim says on Friday, but I don’t want to push too much.

Hope you enjoyed the sunshine today! 🙂
