![[22] 22nd parkrun in the bag this morning! ☀️ It was a warm, sweaty one, so I embraced the run/walk and soaked up the sunshine. Grateful for my little cheer squad cheering me on at the finish. 💛

Not every run needs to be fast - sometimes it’s just about showing up, sweating it out, and smiling through it. I will get that 25 #parkrun t-shirt soon! 😁🙌🏼

![[ROCKET] A speedy 5k through Milton Keynes this morning at the MK Rocket 5k, part of the @mkmarathon weekend.
I did this race back in 2019 with @little_legs_big_adventures and E, so it was fun to be back running it, with James and Arthur cheering this time! 🚀🏃🏽♀️
It's a closed-road course, with a gradual decline from the start to the finish line at the MK Stadium - probably the only time I've managed a negative split in a race, and a perfect new PB of 34:18! That will be one to try and beat next year 😆🏅

I love working part-time and having Thursday and Friday as 'Mummy and Arthur days'. It's especially fun now the weather is warming up and we can take day trips to new places in the sunshine ☀️ 💛

![[ZOO] Such a lovely family day out at @zslwhipsnadezoo today! We saw so many amazing animals, including my faves - tigers 🐅 and elephants🐘 - took a ride on the little steam train, watched the bird show, and even squeezed in a go on the carousel. Ice cream🍦 was, of course, a must, and Arthur was absolutely in his element from start to finish. Definitely a day to remember! 💕

![[ANGLESEY ABBEY] We had a fantastic family day at Anglesey Abbey, enjoying the Easter Adventures trail and the 'Find the Flock' Shaun the Sheep 🐑 sculpture hunt.
The Easter 🐣🐇 trail featured 10 sheep-themed activities, including sheep hoop-la, an obstacle course, and a welly boot throw, which Arthur especially enjoyed! 🤣 We were also rewarded with a chocolate treat at the end, which went down well with the teenager... 🍫
We managed to spot 7 out of the 12 beautifully painted Shaun sculptures scattered throughout the gardens. My favourite was the vegetable one! The sunny weather definitely made our outdoor adventures more fun too 😍☀️
