2015 Top Yoga Retreats
After my awesome weekend away in Seaford on Sally Parkes’ Relax and Restore Yoga Retreat I’ve been keeping my eye out for future trips. So I was really excited to see a whole feature on Yoga Retreats in the April edition of Om Yoga Magazine!
Here’s a quick rundown of some of my favourite sounding ones:

Tuscany, Italy with Fierce Grace Yoga – July 16-23 £995
Work through the five interconnected Fierce Grace classes, then enjoy a massage, swim or glass of wine on the terrace complete with breathtaking views.
Cornwall, England with Yoga At Work – May 1-3 £299
Cornwall is the perfect place to escape to and immerse yourself in a luxury yoga weekend. The hotels all have great restaurants, views and spa facilities to really help you unwind.
Derbyshire Dales, England with HFHolidays – August from £339

St Lucia, Caribbean with The Body Holiday – October from £900 per night
This unique all-inclusive five star health and wellness resort offers first class food and accommodation, a magnificent beach and plenty of yoga. The price includes daily spa treatments and a comprehensive activity schedule – do as much or as little as you like!
Ibiza, Spain with Joga Beats – May, June and September from £780
Morning vinyasa flow JoGa Beats classes with hikes, bike rides, lazy beach days and trips to the hippie markets in between, then a more restorative sunset yoga flow and sound healing by night. Listen to Ibiza’s birds and bees and enjoy the mountain views.
Kerala, India with Yoga United – Feb/March 2016 £748
Escape the cold dark days of winter in Europe for the warm Arabian Sea. With two yoga sessions per day as well as an on-site spa, and a chance to see parts of Southern India off the beaten track.
Hua Hin, Thailand with Thai Healthy Me – June 14-20 £480
This yoga, Tai Chi and meditation retreat is suitable for all levels, and includes trips to local organic farms and places of natural beauty. Accommodation is simple guest houses on the beach.
Isle of Tiree, Scotland with Surf Tiree and Helen Clare Yoga – May/June £875
Surfing and yoga are a great team, and this yoga retreat is a collaboration between Blackhouse Watersports and Helen Clare, a yoga teacher, trail runner and surfer with a special interest in yoga for athletes. The food is provided by a graduate chef of Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s River Cottage Kitchen.

Djerba, Tunisia with Kent Yoga – September 9-16 £695
This all-inclusive retreat includes flights and transfers (from London Gatwick) to the exotic island of Djerba, with its mysterious blend of Mediterranean and North African culture.
Vale do Lobo, Portugal with Yoga Forever – April 22-26 £1005
Do you play tennis and do yoga? This retreat combines the two with Fenella Lindsell, a club tennis player who’s been teaching yoga for 25years. Morning and evening yoga and 2hours of tennis a day- expect a fun, flowing and creative experience.
And of course check out Sally Parkes – she has an awesome sounding retreat in Spain later this year.
To be honest, they all sound amazing- time to start saving! Where would you go?
The Om Yoga Show is coming to Manchester on 15th-17th May, and I have two pairs of tickets to giveaway!
With three days of open classes, workshops, advice, performances and shopping, the OM Yoga Show is the perfect place to enjoy a weekend of yoga. I went along to the show in London last November and can highly recommend!
