Foodie Penpals : July

Another Foodie Penpal parcel this month from Amanda at 7th Star Baker, and she delivered some great items!

Foodie Penpals can be a bit hit and miss depending on who you get, and whether you’re sent things that you’re actually going to use – it does take up quite a lot of time thinking about what would be suitable for that person, and I think because it’s a different person each month, rather than a “proper” penpal, you don’t really develop a friendship or knowledge of who you are sending the parcel to.

Amanda was the first person who sent me any homemade items which I really appreciate! The photo doesn’t do the cookies justice, but these white chocolate and cranberry creations were gorgeous 🙂

Also in my parcel were Nutter Butter bites, Lemon and Chilli popcorn, Roasted Peanut Puffs, Japanese noodles, lemon filled Liquorice, a great selection of teabags, and a spice kit for creamy pork with apple and sage – yum! I’ve already eaten the cookies (of course!) and can’t wait to crack into the rest of it!
